Narrowly <em>cangget<\/em> defined as dance performed by women, but broadly speaking <em>cangget<\/em> is the marriage ceremony (<em>begawi cakak pepadun<\/em>). One might ask whether <em>cangget<\/em> is either a \u201cdance event\u201d or a \u201cmarriage event\u201d. For the people of Lampung, the two are inseparable. The cangget is the hallmark of Lampung marriage, whereas the marriage event is the only place where the cangget can be seen. <em>cangget <\/em>performed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Via <em>cangget <\/em>as a form of art, the author reads the humanity of Lampung people. <em>Cangget<\/em> danced by all the girls <em>balancer<\/em> (traditional leader) in the sesat (traditional meeting hall), as the representative of the ke<em>balancer<\/em>his father. Relationship <em>cangget<\/em> The author looks at the cultural values and cultural identity of Lampung people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rachmi Diyah Larasati in the introduction of this book said that this book offers a macro concept of the politics of art production as a pattern of identity formation.
