ISI Yogyakarta Dance Study Program produces graduates who have technical, conceptual, and reflective competencies in the field of dance. Through a practice-based learning approach, theory, research, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, students are equipped to become dancers, choreographers, researchers, educators, art managers, and art actors who are responsive to contemporary social and cultural issues.
Learning outcomes are not only reflected in innovative and contextual dance works, but also in students' ability to write, present ideas, and build professional networks at local, national, and international levels. Graduates of the Dance Study Program are expected to be able to contribute to the performing arts ecosystem actively, both through the creation of works, teaching, managing art activities, and developing arts and culture-based communities.
