"Labiodance" menjadi Juara Bersama Grand Finalis 10 Besar Kompetensi BUDAYA GO! oleh Kementerian Kebudayaan RI
Kabar membaganggakan datang dari Kelompok Labiodance oleh salah satu dosen jurusan tari Anggun Ida Mawadda, S. Sn., M. Sn. yang menjadi Juara Bersama Grand Finalis 10 Besar Kompetensi Budaya Go oleh Kementerian Kebudayaan RI. Labiomove dibuat sebagai platform digital yang memiliki banyak peran, yaitu menyimpan dan menggali pengetahuan tentang tari tradisional di Indonesia.
Labiomove hadir, sebagai platform yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang tari tradisional, identitas lokal dan nasional dengan memungkinkan orang berinteraksi dengan tari tradisional melalui alat digital seperti simulasi 3D, presentasi video, dan modul pembelajaran interaktif. Pendekatan ini membantu menciptakan bentuk baru pengetahuan tradisional dan berkontribusi pada pengembangan ekosistem budaya digital Indonesia.
Melalui BUDAYA GO! yang merupakan kompetisi inovasi digital kebudayaan Indonesia yang diinisiasi oleh pemerintah untuk menjembatani pelaku seni dengan pakar teknologi. Program ini memiliki tujuan menghasilkan aplikasi, game berbasis Virtual/Augmented Reality (VR/AR), dan Artificial Intelligence (AI) guna melestarikan dan mempromosikan warisan lokal ke kancah global.
Dance Department Lecturer Achieves Nusantara Art Innovation Program 2026
Prideful news comes from the Dance Department. One of the best lecturers, Mrs. Galih Prakasiswi, B.F.A., M.A., successfully selected as a recipient Nusantara Art Innovation Program 2026, a prestigious event that supports the development of innovative artworks based on Indonesia's cultural heritage.
This achievement serves as tangible proof of her dedication, consistency, and commitment to developing artistic practices and ideas, particularly in the field of dance. Through her academic and creative work, Ibu Galih continually presents fresh ideas that not only enrich the realm of art but also strengthen the position of traditional art in contemporary contexts.

Three works by ISI Yogyakarta Dance Department lecturers win gold medal at international event
Yogyakarta - Another proud achievement was made by lecturers of the Dance Department, Faculty of Performing Arts, ISI Yogyakarta in the international event of art innovation. Three choreographic works that were carried won awards Gold Medal, It marks the art college's active contribution to the development of creativity and artistic research at a global level.
The work titled Sinous Movement Serenade which is worked on by Dra. Setyastuti, M.Sn. with Dindin Heryadi, M.Sn. is one of the featured works with a visual and movement approach that combines contemporary aesthetics and body narrative. Meanwhile, Dr. Y. Adityanto Aji managed to raise the philosophy of natural elements in his work entitled Panca Mahabuta. The third work that also won the Gold Medal award was Raksa Bhumi, the result of collaboration between Ni Kadek Rai Dewi A, M.Sn., Dr. I Nyoman Cau A, M.Sn., and Agustin Anggraeni, S.S., which explores the theme of earth conservation through body language and ethnic music.
This achievement shows the strong commitment of the ISI Yogyakarta Dance Department in encouraging performing arts innovations that are rooted in tradition, but are able to creatively respond to aesthetic challenges and global issues.
