Yogyakarta, October 31, 2025 - In the meeting room of the Department of Dance, Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta, the IKASTISI National Working Meeting was held that afternoon. Under the banner of IKASTISI (Alumni Association of ASTI and Dance Department of ISI Yogyakarta), alumni administrators gathered in the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) to revitalize the organization and design the future. The meeting was chaired by Secretary: Dwi Cahya. With the meeting officially convened, the Chairman, Robby Hidajat, reported and explained the core of this activity which focused on the revision of the bylaws, and the appointment of an advisory board.
The main agenda of the meeting was the revision of the Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART). Yuli Miroto, as the organizational development coordinator, gave a warm but constructive discussion input, because the bylaws determine the running of the organization, so the discussion time was given more emphasis to discuss the foundation of this organization. The proposed changes focused on strengthening the organization's structure, including the legality of new funding sources and, most importantly, the formalization of the role of the Advisory Board.
A crucial moment occurred when the Raker authorized the appointment of three art maestros as the IKASTISI Advisory Board: (1) Sigit Gunardjo, a performing arts management development practitioner of undoubted reputation, (2) I Nyoman Sudewi, a Balinese dance figure who bridges tradition and modernity, (3) Bambang Pujaswara, a Yogyakarta dance figure, who is a strong representation of local cultural roots. They are important figures, because they have been part of the driving force of the first IKASTISI.
The presence of these big names is expected to be a strategic compass for the IKASTISI management going forward. Dwi Cahya, the Secretary, conveyed every detail of this endorsement, preparing the legal foundation for strategic collaboration with the advisors.
The mood changed focus when Lies A, the Treasurer, proposed to add membership, due to her heavy workload to be able to oversee the organization. The proposal was noted and will be followed up technically. Related to this, Sri Eka Kusumaningayu, the chief executive of Reoni Akbar “Pulang Kampus” reported the remaining finances of the activity. With a big smile, Eka reported the remaining funds of Rp 1,000,000 which the IKASTISI 2025 Reunion Committee then handed over to the treasurer.
In order to realize the mission, many notes on the proposed long-term financial raising strategy were proposed and immediately subjected to intensive discussion:
- Mandatory KTA for prospective graduates: Lies proposed coordination with the Dance Department to require each prospective graduate to become a member of IKASTISI by paying a Member Identity Card (KTA) fee of Rp50,000. This proposal is seen as strategic because it ensures member regeneration and a structured initial cash flow. This was also confirmed by Bambang Pujaswara, the organization's advisor.
- It was proposed that structured members pay annual dues of Rp50,000 per member. M Suwarsono Ars, all RAKER participants welcomed this system and expressed the readiness of Korwil to become the main coordinator of dues collection per batch or per region. Because next year's program, 2026, is the formation of management in each Korwil.
- Development of Marketable Programs: Sri Eka K (Program Development) emphasized that the search for donors and sponsors (Proposal 3) should be tied to programs that have value high and visibility Extensive, not just asking.
All proposals were recorded as the Treasurer's Work Program and will be integrated into the revised bylaws. The RAKER activity was witnessed by the Head of the Dance Department: Dr. Rina Martiara, M.Hum. and other Department staff. The spirit to build financial independence from the member base was a strong closing for this RAKER.
