Dance Department Receives PPKM 2024 Grant: Encouraging Learning Innovation and MBKM Collaboration
In 2024, the ISI Yogyakarta Dance Department again received a grant for the Merdeka Campus Competition Program (PKKM) from the Ministry of Research and Technology. This grant is used strategically to strengthen the curriculum, improve learning quality, and expand partnership networks in supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program.
Various activities have been carried out, ranging from curriculum evaluation FGDs and MBKM reorganization with partners, developing digital learning innovations, to involving practitioners such as Ari Ersandi, Eka Lutfi, Jeannie Park, Budi Pramono, and Hardo in the lecture process. Students also actively participate in MBKM programs such as teaching in schools in various regions, internships at the Dayak Customary Council and Situbondo Cultural Office, running entrepreneurship programs, and building villages in Kalurahan Mangunan. The grant also encouraged research collaborations and partnerships with institutions such as Sanggar Sekar Dewata Bali, ISBI Aceh, and Dewan Adat Dayak, reflecting the multidisciplinary spirit and sustainability of contextualized and relevant arts education.
