The Dance Study Program exists as an academic and creative platform to explore, develop, and preserve the richness of the archipelago's dance, as well as open space for exploration of the dynamics of dance that continues to develop at the local, national and global levels. For us, dance is not only an expression of beauty, but also a reflection of cultural identity, educational media, and a means of communication across generations and across cultures.
As the oldest dance study program in Indonesia with Superior status, we continue to strive to maintain academic quality and the relevance of art practice to the challenges of the times. Through an adaptive curriculum, the support of competent lecturers, and an environment that encourages creative exploration, we are committed to producing graduates who not only have technical expertise in dance, but also cultural insight, social sensitivity, and strong research skills in the world of performing arts.
